Fire Station Tour

Last week, I arranged a tour of our local fire station for Joseph and his classmates. The children really enjoyed talking with the men and liked seeing where they eat, sleep, relax and of course, where they keep the truck!!! The station was immaculate, the kitchen was huge and their media room was pretty comfy too! Obviously, the highlight of the trip was the bay where the big fire truck was parked. The firemen gave an explanation as to what all the equipment was used for and the kids really did well at paying attention!

October is Fire Prevention Month, so now is a good time to check your smoke alarms and replace the batteries!
