Life Over Here

The boys and I spent this last week laying low and just hanging around the house. We enjoyed an afternoon of cupcakes and cookies with my friend Kristin in honor of National Cupcake Day! I don't ever need a reason to enjoy a cupcake, but if there is an official reason to celebrate it, I say "yippee"!

Joseph and I have been working on his soccer skills in the afternoons. Our hard work (fun) paid off this weekend: Joseph scored 4 goals for his team at the game! He was so excited! The season is now over, but we're looking forward to participating when it resumes in the spring. His coach was really super and he also received his first trophy.

Jake has mastered the use of the term "uh oh" and is quite the charming little character. He is a true copycat and wants to mimic everything that his big brother does. He also LOVES shoes, which I thought was a girl thing. The kid is crazy. He does several shoe changes daily, from the pint-sized Crocs (his favorite) to his sandals to a pair of gym shoes. It is funny!

Santa arrived at our mall on Friday. I can hardly believe that Christmas is just 40 days away! Where did this year go already?

Hope everyone is doing well! Love to all-
