Today, we are celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary! We enjoyed a wonderful trip to NYC for a quick getaway. It was awesome! Kicked off the trip with a dinner at the renowed James Beard House. Brian did have to work the event, but I had fun dining with his friends. Following the dinner, we headed to a party at our friend's chic apartment in the city. On Friday, we had lunch at Keste Pizza and a fabulous dinner at Locanda Verde. Robert DiNero is one of the financial backers of the restaurant. Awesome new 'hot' spot! Great food and wines! Our hotel was located in Midtown Manhattan and it was very hip and comfy. All in all, a sweet stay. Thanks to our neighbor for hooking us up! We returned home last night to the boys and to Grandma, who kindly watched them while we were away. They can be a handful, so we are extremely appreciative!
