Photo with the Easter Bunny

We went to have the boys picture taken this afternoon with the Easter Bunny.  Fortunately, we did not have to wait very long.  We attempted to do this last weekend but it was about a 45 minute wait for a photo op!  It was simply not going to happen with my boys.    When it was their turn, Joseph happily took his place on the bunny's lap, but my pal Jake was not so eager.   I suppose a big, brown, furry animal could be scary to a small guy like him.  I ended up sitting to the left of Mr. Bunny and held Jake in order for us to get a picture without him crying.  All in all, I think it looks pretty good.   Of course, I had tried to have Joseph wear the same navy blue shorts so they would be dressed alike, but my idea was not received very well.   Joseph's new favorite cartoon is Ben 10 and the boy Ben wears a green and blue shirt/jacket with blue jeans.  Once he made up his mind about the shorts, it was over.   I have to pick my battles and I decided this was really not a  biggie.   We've had lots of playdates and activities this past week due to the Spring Break holiday.  We had a "messy" playdate which was perfectly designed for the boys.  There was shaving cream, finger paint, a volcano station, a "mud pie" station, bubbles and play dough.   Yes, this did take place outside!  Both boys had lots of fun.  Personally, I thought this mom was really brave to take on such a dirty playdate!  I don't think I could have handled it!  We also spent some time hanging in our backyard with Joseph's BFF (Best Friend Forever), Cayman.  They play really well together.   We wrapped up the week with Jonah, Noah and a Chic-Fil-A playdate with Cayman.   I was a little worried about how I would spend the week keeping busy, but it went by quickly!  Back to normal on Monday!

My new business with "Thirty-One Gifts" is great and I am loving it!  I've had a couple of parties and some retail orders, so it proved to be a really good month.   People seem to love the products and are excited to learn more about them.  If you want to check out my website,  the link is www.mythirtyone.com/emilykoziol

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter!
