School's Out!

Today was the last day of school for Joseph as well as the last full week of swim lessons for Jakey. It's so amazing how quickly this year has gone by!

Joseph has learned so many new skills and has made many new friends at school. The teachers organized a presentation this afternoon for all the parents at the future site of their elementary school. It was wonderful! The kids sang some lively, upbeat tunes and seemed to really enjoy being in the spotlight. The property was very beautiful, in fact, it formerly was a bed and breakfast hotel. It's situated on a couple of acres of land on the lake with some charming oak trees! I was thinking it would certainly be a gorgeous place to live!

No crying today at swim lessons today! Go Jake! He's a good little swimmer now and is still perfecting his floating technique. He's got it down, but insists on kicking his feet just a little bit rather than remaining still. He also had to wear goggles today and the only ones available were hot pink! Yes, I did take a pic and will post it soon. It was quite funny!

As I reflect on how much these two guys have grown and developed in that time, I am starting to see how the time does actually pass by faster than it seems at times! Trust me, there are many days where time seems to stand still when there are no toys or activities to keep the boys' attention. Weird, especially since there are toys in each room of this home!!!

Tomorrow, we'll be having an end of the year party at the splash park with all Joseph's school buddies! I hope the rain doesn't spoil the fun!

May was my best month yet for my new Thirty-One business! I've really enjoyed doing the events and showing everyone how great the products are! And, I have quite the collection of totes to use for myself these days!

Heading out to enjoy some wine and apps with friends. It's a family affair: playtime for the kids with other kids and adult time with other parents! Love it!
