This week, Joseph's class went on a field trip to the Oakland Nature Preserve. I volunteered to be one of the chaperones and also to provide transportation for some of the kids. I had a car full of boys who really enjoyed one another's company! They said the van was cool, and I'll admit it was nice to be able to have everyone packed in it comfortably. Just don't tell Brian I said that! Ha ha!
We had a tour of the preserve which was really informative for the grown-ups as well as for the kids. It was so peaceful there on the lake that I had wished I could stay there all day and enjoy the breeze. I look forward to returning in the future!
