The days are flying by! At this rate, Christmas will be here soon.
Yesterday, we had a very active day with Loren, Stone & Rhodes at the playground and then we headed on a walk in the forest. Keep in mind that the forest is a safe, shady area in the middle of the neighborhood with hundreds of tall pine trees! After dinner, our casual stroll outside turned sour when Jojo fell off of his fire truck. Our poor little guy now has a busted lip and a scratched up arm. He's a good sport and we returned outside once we got him cleaned up.
Today, we ran errands and met up with Elena and Gina. It was wonderful to see them; it had been such a long time! We had a great time catching up while the kids had fun chasing the pigeons and the squirrels. However, we did learn that if you feed these animals pretzels, they will begin to stalk you! It's about to storm here ---AGAIN! We'll be so happy when it gets a little cooler and we can spend more time outdoors. We closed up the day with a ride on Dumbo and a viewing of the nightly fireworks!
