We're Off to A Good Start!

Spring is here and so are the really warm days! We've (actually, Brian) planted some new shrubs and flowers in the front garden and they look nice. There's still a little space left to plant more, once we decide on the best choice for the spot. Many of you know that we've haven't had much success with plants thriving in this particular area. The poor drainage is a major part of the problem because there is always so much water in the area. However, we discovered another stumbling block - a huge piece of plywood left under all of the soil! As Brian was digging into the mud, he made this observation. He ended up having to saw the piece apart to remove it. Another quality job by our builder! I can't say that I'm surprised!
On Monday, Joseph and I headed to the park with Lori and the girls. It was PACKED! We'll return once the crowds return back home. Isn't Spring Break over soon? We also had a chance to meet up with Michelle and Garrett this week, who were in town visiting from Nevada. The boys had a great time in the splash fountain and it was nice to catch up with an old friend. Today, we are hoping to meet up with JC, who is also in town for a bit.
Other good news: Brian was able to submit a request for a new company car to replace the "Lemon"! We'll keep you posted!
Have a great day!
