Hi! Jake and Joseph enjoyed playing outside this afternoon with a new splash pad and the garden hose. It was so cute! We've spent much of this week finding water activities because it is SO hot here. The splash fountains are always a hit with them and it appears that Jake will follow in Joseph's footsteps as far as being fearless. He loves the water and has even slipped a few times, but he just keeps on going and going! Joseph went to summer camp at his preschool twice this week and seemed to really have a great time with the other children.
Jake went for his 1 year checkup on Monday and he is 21 pounds and 9 ounces. He is just shy of being 31 inches long, which puts him in the 85th percentile for his height. He sailed through his two immunizations and is cleared to enjoy some other goodies now, such as whole milk and peanut butter. He has already had his first PBJ sandwich and loved it!
Not much else to report at the moment. I'm looking forward to a "girls trip" at the end of the month in honor of my friend Lori's 40th birthday! We're heading to Amelia Island! Yahoo!
