Hello out there! We are trying our best to enjoy our normal outdoor activities despite the sweltering heat here in Florida. The pictures are from a recent trip to the playground, which the boys really loved! The picture of Joseph with the Lowe's car was taken this afternoon at SeaWorld.
Joseph has attended Summer Camp twice a week for the last three weeks at his school, but misses the friends he had from his actual preschool class. I think he will be very excited to see them when school begins in August. He is quite a funny character. On the way home from SeaWorld, he asked me where the fish like Nemo live. I explained that Nemo lives in an anemone. He then asked me where (in the ocean) a Barracuda lives and I said that I thought they just swam without a specific area to call home. He thought quietly for a moment and then said, "Oh, Mommy, then they are like the gypsies, because they don't have homes, right?" What a memory this child has!
Jake is growing so fast these days. He mumbles or makes silly baby sounds, but hasn't said much other than "Da Da" or "Ma". However, he does this type of grunt (or ugh) sound to get our attention and show us what he wants. He walks over to the sink and the clean dishes to signal that he wants a bottle each morning! After the bottle, he will either walk to the pantry or to the fridge to notify us that he is ready for the next course!
It is now bedtime for Jake, so that's all for now! I hope to get back to posting more often, but it's been hard to find the time lately. Love to all-
In case I don't have time to post tomorrow, we would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Abby! She will be 8 years old! WOW!
P.S. Joseph does own PLENTY of other clothes besides his LSU athletic suits, but they are his favorite! I've had to hide them so he doesn't wear them everyday, but he is so happy when I put them back in the rotation. I had no idea it would be so difficult sometimes to get him to wear other clothes. I thought that was just a "girl" thing??? It just so happens that I have a lot of pictures with him wearing this outfit. :)
