Our warm weather has finally returned! Thank goodness! I sure hope it lasts. We did not enjoy the cold spell that we had over the last two weeks. There was ice on the car in the morning, it was a bit too gloomy for me and 33 degrees is just miserable. I know the folks up north must be chuckling because it gets much colder there, but we are simply not used to it! In fact, we don't even own many winter clothes! Crocs do not keep your feet very warm either...
Oh, when the Saints go marching in... Geaux Saints! We just scored a playoff victory by defeating the Arizona Cardinals! It's a very exciting time for our team. We'll soon find out who our opponent for the next game will be -- Dallas or Minnesota.
We are all doing very well. Joseph is enjoying his extended hours at school these days. He now brings his lunch and has even more time to play outside with his buddies. He seems to be loving it! Joseph is totally into Super Heroes these days. His current favorite is Flash (the fastest man alive), but he also likes Batman very much.
Jake is communicating more and more each day. He has been using the phrase, "uh-uh" on occasions such as "Jake, is it time for nite-nite?" , which is pretty funny! He can also nod his head to say "yes" when he wants to eat something, particularly a snack! We recently had his 18 month check up and he is in the 80th percentile for his height and only in the 30th for his weight. He's growing just perfectly and is a cuddly little guy.
I had a recent orthodontic appointment and my teeth are progressing according to schedule! Yay! They should be removed by the end of October! I must say that the first 9 months has flown by quickly.
