Ok, so the boys have not been feeling quite like themselves over the last few days. Last week, Joseph missed two days of school because he had a fever and a yucky cough. He seemed better over the weekend, so we were relieved. However, Jake has had zero appetite, which is really strange for the little guy. He even refused to eat ice cream! Hello - that's when you know there's a problem.
I thought he may be getting some new teeth, but it's really hard to tell. He is still happy and playful, so I can't pinpoint what is bothering him. Last night, he finally managed to eat some bread with butter, but was sick in the wee hours of the morning. Today, he seems a tad bit better.
During bathtime this evening, Joseph managed to cause the toilet to overflow because he stuffed too much paper in it. Imagine water everywhere. Thankfully, Brian took care of cleaning this mess up.
I thought we were over the worst. I was thinking "What can happen next?" Boy, was I about to find out! About an hour ago, he got sick in his bed and it was EVERYWHERE! I don't mean to gross anyone out, but I have reached my peak of icky bodily fluids at the moment. Ugh. And the laundry is piling up. Oh, the fun.
Calgon, take me away. Please. Pretty please.
I should be in bed now to be ready to face the world tomorrow, but I'm waiting for another load of laundry to finish.
