We spent last weekend at one of the Disney's Beach Club Resort and had a really great time! The hotel is so nice and it's in a perfect location on the property. On Friday evening, we headed to a campfire and movie on the beach. Joseph and Jake both love marshmallows and they were playing "Bolt" on a large, inflatable screen on the sand. Everyone enjoyed this adventure,although Jake and I retired to the room for bedtime before Joseph and Brian.
On Saturday, Kristin offered to take us to the theme park so we decided to spend the day in Epcot. We ate snacks "around the world", went back to the hotel for mid-afternoon break and then returned to Epcot to see a few attractions and the Illuminations fireworks display. We were definitely playing the tourist role!
As always, the weekend passes so quickly and we returned home on Sunday.
Thanks to Dad and Carmen for arranging this unexpected getaway for our family.
I almost forgot--we did have dinner at Beaches & Cream (a "must-do" activity). It was as good as it always is! However, the next day we weren't feeling too well. I'm thinking either we ate too much (always a possibility) or it's just too greasy. Anyway, fun times and good memories!
