Hello!
Brian and I had a fantastic time at the Hammock Dunes Beach Club this past weekend! We were treated to a luxurious getaway courtesy of Brian's company and we were pampered with a choice of golfing or going to the spa! I'm sure everyone can guess which option I selected! :) For those who enjoy golfing, this place was incredible! They have two beautiful courses on site. Brian played with the other guys while the ladies enjoyed the spa. I had a 60 minute facial and an 80 min massage. It was wonderful! It was nice to finally meet the rest of Brian's team and their spouses. They mentioned that we'll have to do this more often---sounds great to me!
We returned yesterday to our two little guys who seemed very happy to see us. I know that they enjoyed spending time with Oma & Opa, but I love it when they greet us and are so excited to have us home!
Spring Break will be here very soon. Hopefully, it will continue to warm up around here!
Joseph has to bring a "mystery" item to school each week, which has to start with a letter selected by the teacher. Each student must come up with three clues to describe the item. The remainder of the children try to guess what's in the bag. Last week, the letter was 'K' so he brought his race car, "KING" from the Cars movie. Nobody was able to guess it, so he "stumped" the class!
He also started playing soccer again and he is doing awesome! He's fast and is truly "in the game" when he's on the field! We love watching him and he loves playing!
Jake's growing so fast these days. He's into just about everything and he loves the WIGGLES. Lucky me. He is starting to enjoy books more and will actually sit to listen to a story. He loves to cuddle and he loves to do anything that Joseph does. Too bad, Joseph doesn't always like having him around!
Laundry is calling. Fun, fun, fun.
Goodnight!
