In these photos, you can see the fabulous view we had from our condo! It was s-w-e-e-t! It was a bit chilly for water activities, but the kids (and me) enjoyed playing on the sand and finding treasures. Brian was invited to work the Seaside Wine Festival, which has easily become my favorite one of his destination events. This was our second year there and the whole area is simply gorgeous! It kind of has that "small town" feel to it and the "big" city of Destin is actually about 20 miles away. Last year, we stayed in the town of Seaside, which reminds me of Celebration (here in Florida too) but smaller and on the beach. Rows and rows of cottages, people biking, kids eating ice cream: all the images that you may find on a postcard! There are so many things within walking distance and many family-friendly activities. This time, we stayed a few miles down Road 30A in Seagrove. The accomodations were definitely different and I was a little disappointed at first, but easily came to enjoy this little town as much! Seriously, how can you beat seeing a beautiful sunrise and sunset each day over the water? It doesn't get better than this! I can't wait until next year!
