We Wish You A Merry Christmas!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!
We spent our Christmas Eve by going to Mass and then joining a party at our friend's home (Tyler & Loren). They had a get-together and it was really nice for everyone to mingle and visit. We got home about 10p.m. Joseph actually told Brian he was ready to sleep! He was out before we made it home!
Today, our day started early with Joseph waking up around 7:30a.m. He was surprised to see a room full of presents! After a short while, he became too overwhelmed to continue opening his gifts. Santa was very good to all of us. We headed over to have lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby and it was great! The park was a madhouse!
Joseph was knocked out. He slept the entire afternoon for a total of about 4 hours. Too bad Oprah wasn't on today. Every now and then when he sleeps this much, I can watch a bit of this on TV. Anyway, this is definitely not normal. The last few days must have worn him out.
This afternoon, I removed our Christmas tree and packed up the ornaments. I wouldn't typically do this on the holiday, but our tree was looking pretty sickly. In fact, it looked like it was dying. It was so dry and parts were turning brown for days now. Yes, we did water it-frequently!
We tried out our new panini maker this evening for dinner. I think this is going to make us some yummy sandwiches. We have to get used to the machine. They were a little toasty but still good. All in all, it was a nice day for our family. I am feeling pretty exhausted and am in need of a good night's rest.
Enjoy the rest of this special day! We'll be checking back soon. xoxo
