Good Morning! Jacob is a very happy baby in the morning and is full of smiles! He makes these adorable sounds, which I suppose is his way of having a conversation with you. He enjoys looking at the red bunny on the mobile and the balloon tied to his crib. However, he doesn't like to sleep in the crib. Why am I not surprised? Big Brother Joseph didn't like it at the beginning either.
He still HATES the car seat and screams 99% of the time he is in it. It's not so easy to drive for miles with a screaming kid. I don't understand what it is that makes him so upset. We also switched him to formula and he is doing really well. He is an eating machine, another trait that he shares with his brother.
The swingset is up and ready for action. I'll add pictures of it when Joseph gets home from school and has a chance to play on it! It looks great! We're really lucky that Papa could put it together for us.
We are getting some of the rain from Hurricane Ike, which is affecting our plans to go to the pool. I hope it comes and goes quickly.
