What A Week!

Hello out there! Our past week was very busy so I haven't been able to find the time to update the blog. Joseph wrapped up his swimming lessons last Thursday and is now able to progress to the next level, which is Advanced Minnow! He did really great and we were happy with the program. He is simply not a fan of diving for rings, but loves everything else about being in the water!
Jake is growing and growing and growing some more. He tried bananas on Sunday but wasn't too crazy about them. We'll have to try it again and see what happens. He is very alert and playful. He is still not sleeping through the night, which is killing me! I think he just doesn't want to miss a meal. I've noticed a slight improvement when he rides in the car these days. He is still prone to being upset and crying, but it seems he can hold out longer before letting loose. This is a relief and I'm hoping it will continue to get better as he gets older.
Brian and I had a chance to go out to a very nice dinner last weekend with some of his friends. Our babysitter, Morgan, does a great job with the boys and even gets them to go to bed before we return ---in their own beds! We really haven't even been out that late! I think maybe she should move in with us!
I'm starting to feel the onset of a cold coming on and I think Joseph has it too. I took some non-drowsy medicine and now I am about to bounce off of the walls. It is 3 am and I am tired but cannot sleep. AHHH...
Well, I am going to try to close my eyes for a few hours. Joseph has his first flag football practice tomorrow evening. Can't wait to see it. We'll keep you posted!
