Hello!
Christmas Eve is here already! I hope everyone is enjoying this special time of the year! This afternoon, we attended a Christmas service designed for preschool children held at Joseph's school church. It was really adorable! The message was simple: Faith, Hope & Love. All of these were the necessary ingredients in making a special birthday cake for Jesus. Joseph was attentive and seemed to enjoy watching the children (and puppets) involved in the presentation. Afterwards, we had dinner out at one of our favorite restaurants, Bahama Breeze. Upon returning home, Joseph got the chance to open one present. It was a Scooby-Doo DVD, which we had to watch immediately! Finally, we set out some cookies and milk for Santa along with a note thanking him for coming to our home. Oops, I almost forgot -- we left some treats for Rudolph too! Jake missed all of this activity because he had already turned in for the night. He's sleeping in his own crib! This is a biggie, right? Hurray! He'll be up soon to eat (again), but hey, it's progress!
Take a look at some of our Santa photos from earlier this month. I am trying to post more recent photos, so check back again soon.
Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas filled with much love and happiness. Lots of love to all of our family and friends who make our lives so special.
Emily, Brian, Joseph & Jacob
