Hello Out There!

Greetings! Today is our 5 year wedding anniversary! WOW! Seems like just yesterday we were planning all the details of our big day! It was such a wonderful and magical day! Now, here we are, blessed with two beautiful boys and a loving family that has always been there to support us. We look forward to sharing many more years together and we are thankful for the good times and memories we have experienced.

It has been absolutely crazy around here over the past week. Pop Pop (my dad) came for a visit, we made it to the Saints vs. Bucs game in Tampa and squeezed in time for pictures with Santa!

Joseph returned to school this week and has been receiving reports that he is a good listener. I sure wish I could say the same thing when he gets home! He is keeping me busy and seems to still be having a rough time with having a baby brother. Although it has been five months already, I think he feels a bit insecure and/or jealous of Jake. He did tell me that we should sell Jake to the gypsies! I asked him how much we should sell him for and he replied, "Nine bucks". What a bargain, right?

I was also telling him that he was still my baby too and he said that he was a big boy. I explained that he was a big boy now but at one time, he was small like Jake. He then said that he "grewed up". Quite funny.

Jake is doing great and growing like a weed. He is a happy baby that smiles and laughs a lot. I can say that he still doesn't like being in the car, but I think it may have improved slightly.

Our computer crashed this week, so I am currently using Brian's computer to do this entry. It is almost five years old, so I suppose it served it's purpose. Unfortunately, I had not backed up any of my photos in a long time, including all photos taken since Jake arrived. I've tried to recover them, but have had no luck. Needless to say, I am disappointed and have learned an important lesson ---make time to back up the things that are important!

Well, I'm going to sign off now. I'll leave you with another funny statement from Joseph. We were talking about his Advent calendar, which depicts a nativity scene, and he was telling me about all of the people pictured on it. He mentioned Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus and the "watchmen"! It took me a minute or two to figure it out, but he meant the "wise men"! He wanted to know more about them and why they were there. Such a curious little mind! Bye!
