Today, we went to see our friend, the Easter Bunny! As you can easily tell, Joseph was happy but Jake was not too sure about this furry, brown character. I suppose it's a good thing that he is not crying!
I haven't been able to post much lately because we have been pretty busy with playdates and also my allergies have been driving me crazy. It's been weeks now and I can honestly say that I am tired of having a stuffy nose, scratchy throat and a headache.
This week is officially Spring Break for Joseph and we plan to have lots of fun enjoying the time off. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate for us!
Jake had his 9 month check-up with our doctor on Friday and he is 19 pounds, 11 ounces. He is nearly 30 inches long and is growing just fine. We've been trying to train him to sleep in his crib over the last ten days and it's not been pretty. It's a hard process, but it is unrealistic to hold him so he can nap or sleep at night. We checked with the doctor and he offered us guidance in keeping focused with this plan because it will benefit everyone in the future. The good news is that he practically slept through the whole night last night! Yahoo!
Well, it's time to say goodnight because I am exhausted! Hugs! :)
