I must say that the last couple of days have been a bit challenging. My little buddy is really determined to never sleep. He refuses to nap and has been keeping late hours at night. The amusing part of this scenario is that he carries a handful of things with him each time he gets out of bed. He has the very important Speedy pillow, Sammy, Gene, and the four pacys.
Today, we went without a nap and he was still a fireball! At the playground, he was delighted to splash in the puddles that were on the slides after the rainstorm. He even said, "Joe got wet in the puddle. Mommy said "no"! " It was hilarious. Really, it wasn't my first choice for him to do, but it wasn't a biggie. He did get soaked down to his diaper. While swinging, he also told me that he was having fun! After our evening car ride, he fell asleep and is looking like the sweet little boy that we know he is. More to come later-
