So, we've been working on getting Joseph to get to sleep in his own bed each night. He had been doing this for months, and all of a sudden, everything changed. We would take him to the bed and get him tucked in, only to have him walking down the hallway a few moments later. It's been a very challenging week. On Tuesday, we came up with a new game plan to keep returning him to his bed and not saying a word. We did some research and this is what we came up with! This is quite the process and it usually takes a minimum of 45 minutes for him to give up. Tonight was day #3 and he shows no signs of liking this new system. He's so much happier and pleasant after a good night of rest, so we're keeping our fingers crossed. It's a little sad because he just wants to be a part of the action, even though we are exhausted!
On another note, we were at the store today and we ran into a lady that just thought he was adorable. She asked him how old he was and he said "five"! It was funny. Not sure where that came from, but he made us laugh. :) And, he tried chocolate pudding today but didn't seem impressed by it at all. Go figure --what's not to like about dessert?
