Hope it was a Happy Mother's Day for all the "Moms" out there! I had a very low-key day, which was perfect! I had three wonderful meals cooked for me and I even managed to take a nap in the afternoon. The most precious moment happened in the morning. As soon as Joseph woke up, he ran to the van in the garage to get something special that he made for me. He had been hiding it in the back seat and been telling me not to look there. :)
He came back inside, holding it close to his chest and then presented it to me. It was a beautiful picture of a flower along with a sweet poem that he made at school. He was so proud of it and I love it!
I also received a generous gift card for a trip to the spa at the Waldorf Astoria. Yes, my hubby selects great presents! I feel it was a bit excessive, but he feels that I really deserve it. I feel really blessed to be so appreciated and loved.
Life is good!

That's great Emily. The Waldorf Astoria is an excellent gift (you deserve it)...nothing's too extravagant for us moms (especially a mom of 2 boys)...enjoy!
