So, we've had our fair share of feeling yucky over the past two weeks. Two visits to the doctor, a virus and an ear infection, and allergies have made it really fun! NOT! Thankfully, everyone is feeling much better and things are back to normal. If you consider our crazy day-to-day lives to be normal!
I'm really thrilled about the success of my Thirty-One business so far! If you haven't taken a look at the products, you are missing out! I'm loving it! I've had three parties recently and they have been awesome! The ladies have also racked up on free stuff. What's not to like about that? :)
My long-time friend, Bobby, was in town visiting recently. We had a great time visiting with him. Jake bonded with him instantly, which is pretty amazing, considering how attached he is to me!
He works for ESPN in Connecticut, which is part of the Disney company, so he graciously offered to take us to the parks while he was in town. We visited the Magic Kingdom last Wednesday and spent last Friday evening at Epcot. The boys loved the fireworks and they loved eating the Mickey ice cream bars! Pictures to be posted soon! Bobby--if you're reading this, please send me those pics when you get a chance. Seriously, you've been home almost a week already!!!
Only 6 more days of school! How will I ever get through the summer? I am pretty anxious about it and am desperately trying to find something that will keep us all busy. I'm considering sending Joseph to summer camp for a few days but it's ridiculously expensive to send him as much as he'd like to go!!! How do folks afford this stuff? It's close to $200 per week for a M-F program from 9am-3pm. Must be a good business to be in, right?
This is week 3 of swim lessons and my little fish is doing spectacular! He is much more confident in the water and he is now trying to master the art of floating. He continues to kick his little feet furiously when floating, so he has to learn to be more relaxed. Today, the instructor wrapped his feet up with something to keep him still. Boy, he was not a happy camper about that!
We went to Typhoon Lagoon with Kristin yesterday to use our waterpark passes for the last time. It was great fun, except that we were swept away by the big wave. It is unbelievable how strong that water is! Joseph came out with a boo-boo on his toe and I was submerged underwater and scraped my back and arm on the concrete bottom. Ugh. Not a good feeling! However, it was pretty funny because we went to First Aid for bandages and Stitch came to visit while we were there. Wish I would have had my camera because it would have been a Kodak Moment!
Looking forward to this upcoming weekend! BBQ and swimming with friends, warm weather and the family being together! Yahoo!
Peace out-
