Spring Soccer is wrapping up this week. At practice today, the kids played a bit but were much more interested in the beautiful cupcakes waiting for them! The coaches presented each child with a nifty soccer trophy and stood for the traditional photo opp. Our superstar was very excited about his trophy and kept himself amused for quite some time by spinning the soccer ball that is positioned on top of the trophy. The cupcakes and juice drinks sent the kids into sugar shock, but they really enjoyed it. We wrapped up with a team dinner at McDonald's! Who do you think selected the dining establishment: the parents or the kids? :)
It was noisy, crazy and they loved every minute of it!
Day 2 : Swimming lessons for Jake went great! He wasn't too hip on getting the water initially, but seems to be learning how to float rather quickly. Yay Jake!
