Day 4 of swim lessons: complete!
I'm loving it! Too bad Jake doesn't feel the same way. In fact, this morning he noticed his swimmy speedo (they must wear this!) on top of the beach towel in the van. He immediately started shaking his head and said "no". Oh brother. Back to the swimmy speedo, it is the cutest thing. They are not allowed to wear swim diapers because it messes up the pool filters. I haven't heard that before, but I'll take their word for it. I'm not sure this would hold everything in should he have an accident and I hope I never have to find out!
Needless to say, he did cry when we arrived and today he was more upset than he has been on days 1-3. The good news is that he began kicking his cute little legs today so he is picking it up quickly! Ms. Cindy is his instructor and she'll be with him until he finishes the program. She said that he is doing fabulous! Who would have thought you could learn how to swim in 10 minutes a day?
